Circular Studio is an architecture and design firm based in

Barcelona and founded in 2006. It is currently led by

Ivan Serrano and Fernando Ansorena, who work across

various segments of architecture and interior design.

Ivan Serrano Vidal (born in Barcelona, 1977) holds a degree 

and a Master of Architecture from the Polytechnic University of 

Barcelona (UPC), a MArch, Master of Architecture from 

North London University, and an Executive MBA from ESIC. 

He has collaborated with notable architects such as 

Carlos Ferrater and Jean Nouvel. Ivan established his own studio 

in 2002 and went on to found Circular Studio in 2006.

Fernando Ansorena (born in Jerez, 1973) also graduated in

architecture from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona

(UPC) and has been practising as an architect in Barcelona

since 2001. Has been assistant professor at ESARQ/UIC and

at the European Institute of Design (IED).

Since 2014, is a member of Circular Studio.

Together, Ivan and Fernando have cultivated a dynamic

practice that reflects their diverse experiences and commitment

to innovative design.
